A healthy society begins with healthy mothers. Through our partnership with Revival Health Care Clinic, Soweto Academy Foundation supports expectant and vulnerable mothers with essential maternal healthcare — a lifeline for women who otherwise lack access to medical services. This program ensures safe pregnancies, healthy births, and strong families.
Expectant mothers receive antenatal care, nutritional guidance, and postnatal support to protect both mother and child. Many women in informal settlements face high risks during pregnancy due to poverty, lack of healthcare, and limited transportation. Our initiative removes these barriers, offering compassionate care, medical attention, and emotional support. Every mother deserves safety and dignity during pregnancy.
The program also includes food assistance for pregnant women who struggle with nutrition. Proper nourishment is vital for healthy development, and our food packs ensure mothers remain strong throughout pregnancy. This support reduces complications, improves emotional wellbeing, and enhances the overall health of newborns.
Strengthening mothers means strengthening communities. When a mother feels safe, supported, and empowered, she becomes a foundation of resilience for her family. Children raised by healthy, confident mothers have a better chance of thriving academically, socially, and emotionally. Through this partnership, we invest not just in women — but in entire generations.
